Yes, it’s famous. Skip the terrace unless you like paying for the myth. Upstairs, chocolat chaud, watch the boulevard perform. Fashion week turns the sidewalk into a show — fun once, then I’m done.
Belleville institution. Wine list is a conversation. Room feels invited-in, not reserved. No velvet rope — just plates and better company.
Old factory, sharp eye. Linen, books, lipstick — all chosen by someone meaner than me about taste. The used-book café in back is where I recover after spending too much.
